If you've got 15 minutes, then you've got the time to whip up this tasty tuna pasta. Make enough to ensure you have leftovers because it tastes even better for lunch the next day!
Tuna Pasta Recipe
12 oz Linguine (or favorite pasta)
1 can Buoy’s Best Elegant Tuna
3-4 oz Capers
¼ cup Basil leaves or parsley, chopped
1 Lemon, zest and juice
1 Vegetable stock cube
1 Onion, diced
3 Garlic cloves, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons Olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
4 ¼ cups water
Directions
Put all ingredients in a large pot in the order listed. Cook for approximately 15 minutes over medium heat stirring regularly, or until pasta is al dente (just a bit soft.) When finished cooking, drain water but leave about ¾ of an inch of liquid in the bottom of the pan. Mix well and top with a healthy amount of freshly grated parmesan cheese.
